False Information and Hacking

The Kingdom of Bahrain is committed to protect its interests and the National Cyber Security Strategy is a fundamental pillar in order to counter current cyber threats and reduce the risks. Many government institutions rely on social media, as a source of news, and often people working in these institutions do not check with the authorities responsible whether the information is correct or not, which negatively affects the aspects of work and this proves the technical development that the world has witnessed may not necessarily be correct due to the numerous spam accounts out there and the misleading information.
