Hashem Sharaf, an ambitious Bahraini director, is one of the prominent names in Bahraini filmmaking. Sharaf studied cinema at RMIT University in Australia, specializing in filmmaking and film studies, gaining a solid foundation that has enabled him to showcase his skills in directing short films.
He has achieved notable successes, including his short film "A Better Excuse Than Guilt," which was widely acclaimed, participated in multiple international festivals, and won the Golden Palm Award for Best Gulf Short Narrative Film at the Saudi Film Festival.
