In recognition of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa, King of the Kingdom of Bahrain’s belief in the ability of youth to lead their countries and the world toward a better shared future of peace and prosperity, this unique global award was established for all people, acknowledging the efforts of youth to become active and productive citizens who contribute to the welfare of their communities and environments, as well as the institutions working to improve the enabling environment and infrastructure for youth to make an impact in all UN member states.
