Ministry Initiatives
1. Youth City 2030
This initiative is a strategic partnership between the Ministry of Youth Affairs and the Labour Fund "Tamkeen" to offer a series of training programs aimed at preparing youth for the workforce, equipping them with essential skills, and discovering, refining, and showcasing talents in various areas.
2. The National Project Lamea
Under the guidance and patronage of His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Works and Youth Affairs, the National Project for " Lamea" aims to create a leadership pipeline among the youth by selecting a group of outstanding Bahraini youth.
3. Masari
A project launched in its first version in 2022, is designed to empower, develop, and refine exceptional talents through a range of tracks.
4. Hadeeth
This initiative aims to enhance constructive communication between youth and the Ministry of Youth Affairs, creating an open channel for dialogue.
5. Bahraini Youth Ambassadors
This program provides Bahraini youth with the unique opportunity to accompany the Minister of Youth Affairs on official missions abroad, allowing them to represent the Kingdom of Bahrain in international meetings and discussions. As part of the program, the youth ambassadors gain firsthand experience in observing the nature of these high-level meetings, understanding the decision-making process, and contributing to discussions that address youth-related challenges. The program aims to empower young individuals by providing them with invaluable insights into diplomacy, leadership, and global youth issues while enhancing their personal and professional growth.
6. Bahraini Youth Day
The Kingdom of Bahrain celebrates "Bahraini Youth Day" on March 25 each year, in recognition of the contributions of Bahraini youth to the nation’s development journey and to highlight their outstanding achievements in various fields.
7. Youth Market
The Youth Market is an initiative that brings together a range of Bahraini youth projects.
8. Awayedna
The Ministry of Youth Affairs places great importance on preserving and sustaining the authentic customs, traditions, and values of Bahraini society among children and youth, as they represent an essential part of the Kingdom’s heritage and history. In line with this vision, the Ministry launched the “Awayedna” (Our Traditions) program, which includes theoretical workshops and practical training sessions aimed at passing down traditional Bahraini customs, values, and noble behaviors to the younger generation.
9. Outbound Travel
An initiative by the Ministry of Youth Affairs, implemented in collaboration with the Bahrain Youth Hostels Association, aims to provide meaningful opportunities for Bahraini youth to engage in various experiences and challenges through purposeful and conscious travel.
