Ministry of Youth Affairs Wins the 2025 eGovernment Excellence Award for Best Website
Her Excellency Mrs. Rawan bint Najeeb Tawfeeqi, Minister of Youth Affairs, affirmed that the Ministry’s win of the 2025 eGovernment Excellence Award in the category of Best Website represents a significant milestone in the digital transformation of the youth sector in the Kingdom of Bahrain. She noted that this achievement reflects the extensive efforts dedicated to continuously enhancing the digital services provided to young people.
Her Excellency highlighted that the Ministry’s digital initiatives enjoy the support and attention of His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, His Majesty the King’s Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, who laid the foundation for developing an advanced digital environment that nurtures youth potential and enables them to access the Ministry’s services through a modern and transparent framework.
The Minister explained that the Ministry has been keen to introduce and develop a range of electronic and interactive services that streamline procedures for young people, youth centers, youth commissions, and associations, in line with the Government Program 2023–2026. She emphasized the Ministry’s commitment to continually updating and enhancing all its digital services to support digital transformation and to provide innovative youth-focused solutions that empower young people and contribute to building a more advanced and innovative future.
The Ministry’s website features a number of attributes that contributed to winning the award, including a modern design compatible with all smart devices and a clear structure of sections covering youth initiatives, e-services, youth centers, commissions and associations, and the media center. The website also integrates directly with the eShabab application through a unified login system and reduced duplication of data, enabling faster access to services and program registration. It further includes interactive platforms allowing young people to submit their ideas, suggestions, and achievements. Additionally, the website adopts international standards in web design and is hosted on a high-performance cloud environment that ensures advanced levels of security and reliability.
