Youth Minister chairs meeting of youth empowerment committee
Rawan bint Najeeb Tawfeeqi, Minister of Youth Affairs, chaired the meeting of the Youth Empowerment Committee in the public and private sectors, held at the Bahrain Science Centre for Sustainable Development Goals.
The Youth Minister said that empowering young people, developing their skills, and expanding their opportunities remain key elements of the Kingdom of Bahrain’s development process.
She welcomed the new committee members and acknowledged the contributions of the outgoing members.
During the meeting, the committee reviewed progress on decisions previously issued, recent developments in youth initiatives launched across the public and private sectors, and the gifted youth database.
Members also discussed upcoming initiatives aimed at enhancing youth participation and supporting their contributions to national development.
