Youth Minister highlights royal support of Bahraini women across various sectors
Rawan bint Najeeb Tawfeeqi, Minister of Youth Affairs, emphasised that the achievements of Bahraini women across various fields reflect the continued support and patronage of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the guidance of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
She highlighted that the royal support has led to significant development in the role of women and their contributions across all sectors.
The minister commended the leadership of Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Consort of His Majesty the King and President of the Supreme Council for Women, and commended the Council’s initiatives that empower women and integrate their contributions into national development plans.
The minister highlighted Bahraini Women’s Day as a national occasion recognising women’s efforts and noted that the Kingdom of Bahrain’s approach serves as a regional and international model.
She also underscored the Ministry’s commitment to youth programmes that enhance women’s roles, foster innovation, and support their leadership in shaping the Kingdom’s future.
The Minister attended a ceremony honouring female ministry employees, commending their dedication, leadership, and significant contributions to youth development and national progress.
