Minister of Youth Affairs holds a meeting with her Emirati counterpart to discuss ways of cooperation in the youth sector.
Rawan bint Najeeb tawfeeqi, Minister of Youth Affairs, met with Dr. Sultan bin Saif Al Neyadi, Minister of State for Youth Affairs of the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
The meeting focused on enhancing youth cooperation between the two countries and advancing joint efforts to empower young people.
Minister tawfeeqi underscored the deep-rooted ties between Bahrain and the UAE. She highlighted the strong support such relations received from His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE and emphasised the importance of building on the strong partnerships, particularly in the youth sector, to bring further prosperity to both nations.
Minister tawfeeqi underlined the shared commitment to exchanging expertise and broadening opportunities for youth participation in sustainable development. She noted that both countries share a common vision for investing in young talent and providing supportive environments that empower youth to lead innovative projects and national initiatives, strengthening their role as key contributors to a more prosperous regional future.
Minister tawfeeqi also presented Bahrain’s key programmes and initiatives aimed at supporting and empowering young people, reflecting the Kingdom’s commitment to strengthening youth involvement in national development.
Dr. Al Neyadi gave an overview of the main priorities of the UAE Federal Youth Authority and outlined the country’s national agenda for youth empowerment and participation across various sectors.
He emphasised the depth of historical ties between the two nations and underscored the shared dedication to developing strategic partnerships that invest in youth energy, promote innovation and creativity, and enhance bilateral cooperation based on aligned policies and joint goals.
