Youth Minister attends opening of Games of Future 2025, Phygital Sports Summit in Abu Dhabi
Rawan bint Najeeb Tawfeeqi, Minister of Youth Affairs, attended the opening of Games of the Future Abu Dhabi 2025 and the Phygital Sports Summit in Abu Dhabi. The event was held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates.
Minister Tawfeeqi expressed appreciation to the UAE for hosting the event and noted the participation of youth from around the world, highlighting the focus on future games, technology, and artificial intelligence.
The Youth Minister also attended the main session of the summit, where Dr. Ahmad Belhoul Al Falasi, Minister of Sports of the UAE, discussed the role of Phygital sports in innovation and engaging young people.
The event runs from December 18-23 at Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC), bringing together over 850 participants from 60 countries to compete in 11 sporting and digital disciplines.
