The Minister noted that the selection process was conducted according to clear and precise criteria, including the review of CVs, academic and professional achievements, community and volunteer contributions, and leadership and communication skills. She said the ministry was keen to involve a wide range of young participants while ensuring equal opportunities and highlighting outstanding talent.

Tawfiqi emphasised that the Bahrain Youth Ambassadors initiative serves as a leading platform empowering young people to convey the Kingdom of Bahrain’s positive image to the world. She said the initiative reflects the Kingdom’s firm belief in youth as its true wealth and future makers, representing a strategic investment in their abilities to continue Bahrain’s path of excellence and leadership regionally and internationally.

She highlighted that the previous two editions of the programme achieved remarkable results, with participants successfully representing Bahrain in regional and international youth forums and reflecting the patriotism and ambition of Bahraini youth to contribute effectively to the Kingdom’s future progress through dialogue and the exchange of expertise.

The Minister expressed confidence in the ability of the third edition’s ambassadors to continue advancing national achievements and promoting Bahrain’s authentic identity in international platforms. She added that their participation will enrich global youth dialogue and enhance Bahraini youth presence, competitiveness, and creativity.

Minister Tawfiqi revealed that the ministry has prepared an integrated programme for the selected ambassadors, including specialised training and development workshops designed to refine their skills and broaden their experience. The programme aims to prepare them to represent the Kingdom of Bahrain in international conferences and events, embodying the values of belonging, giving, and leadership that distinguish Bahraini youth.
