Youth Minister attends "Movement and Creativity" event promoting art, physical activity
Rawan bint Najeeb Tawfeeqi, Minister of Youth Affairs, participated in the Movement and Creativity event organised by Al Haraka Baraka association at Souq Al Baraha.
The event featured a special participation by Bahraini visual artist Abbas Al Moosawi, who presented artworks reflecting the spirit of creativity and movement within Bahraini society.
The minister commended the movement for its innovative initiatives and projects that promote a culture of physical and creative activity among young people, noting that the authorities have become a model for motivating Bahraini talent and creating a vibrant youth environment.
Minister Tawfeeqi said that such initiatives transform physical activity into an inspiring space for interaction and creativity, embodying the ambition of Bahraini youth in their pursuit of excellence and contribution. She added that maintaining a healthy lifestyle should be an integral part of Bahraini society’s identity and its aspiration to build a generation characterised by vitality and responsibility.
Shaikha Noora bint Isa Al Khalifa, Chairperson of Al Haraka Baraka, thanked the Minister for her continuous support of youth initiatives, commending the ministry’s commitment to adopting innovative projects that empower young people and highlight their role in nation-building.
She explained that the event is part of a series of programmes implemented by the movement to combine movement with art, transforming physical activity into an engaging and enjoyable community experience. She noted that the participation of youth centres and organisations reflects the harmony between artistic creativity and the Bahraini community spirit, where sport is regarded as a way of life.
The event featured a range of programmes and activities that blended physical and cultural engagement, attracting enthusiastic participation from visitors and participants who expressed their appreciation for the creative content that combined art and movement in a lively, positive atmosphere, reflecting the spirit of innovation and openness that distinguishes Bahraini youth.
