Youth Minister highlights national commitment to youth development
Rawan bint Najeeb tawfeeqi, Minister of Youth Affairs, underscored that the Kingdom of Bahrain, under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, prioritises national youth and continues to invest in their potential by supporting and strengthening their leadership skills.
Minister tawfeeqi highlighted the government’s efforts, led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, in empowering young people and recognising them as the foundation of Bahrain’s development and future. She noted that investing in youth is a strategic national priority to ensure the Kingdom’s continued progress and success.
Marking Bahraini Youth Day, observed on March 25, Minister tawfeeqi highlighted the Ministry’s efforts to advance the vision of His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs and Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS), through comprehensive support for youth development across all sectors.
Minister tawfeeqi underscored that the Ministry of Youth Affairs is focused on providing young Bahrainis with the support, training, and opportunities needed to develop their skills, innovate, and turn their ambitions into real outcomes.
She described Bahraini Youth Day as a chance to recognise the role of youth in building the nation’s future and to highlight outstanding young achievers as role models.
The Minister also commended the contribution of youth volunteers, noting that their dedication reflects the values of unity and service, and plays a key role in strengthening social cohesion across the Kingdom.
