Youth Minister meets Young Innovators Team
Rawan bint Najeeb Tawfeeqi, Minister of Youth Affairs, met with the Young Innovators Team at the Bahrain Science Centre as part of the Ministry’s follow-up on youth teams established across the model and specialised centres.
The Minister highlighted that these teams are central to the Ministry’s efforts to involve young people in shaping programmes within the centres, noting that their ideas and initiatives play an essential role in improving the quality of youth services. She added that the Ministry is committed to offering young people wider scope to participate in planning and implementation, fostering an environment that encourages talent and innovation.
During the meeting, the Young Innovators Team highlighted several proposals to enhance scientific and technical programmes at the Centre, including initiatives linked to the Sustainable Development Goals, artificial intelligence and improvements to training and educational experiences.
Team members expressed their appreciation for the Minister’s continued support, stressing that the engagement motivates them to develop further initiatives that strengthen the Centre’s role in promoting sustainable development and nurturing young people’s skills and creativity.
