Youth Minister receives Al Bayt Al Oud Authority chairperson
Rawan bint Najeeb Tawfeeqi, Minister of Youth Affairs, received Dr. Lulwa Budalamah, Chairperson of the Al Bayt Al Oud Authority.
The minister commended the authority’s efforts in reviving the national identity and reinforcing Bahrain’s traditional values through interactive and educational programmes aimed at instilling patriotism, loyalty, and encouraging youth participation in community activities. She underscored the Ministry’s full support for such initiatives that contribute to building an aware generation firmly connected to its values and national identity.
Minister Tawfeeqi highlighted that the authority represents one of the Kingdom’s pioneering national initiatives, reflecting the Ministry’s vision to empower young people culturally and socially while preserving Bahrain’s authentic heritage. She said that this helps strengthen the values of belonging, citizenship, and social responsibility among Bahraini youth.
The meeting reviewed the Al Bayt Al Oud Authority’s vision and future strategy for implementing initiatives and programmes aimed at achieving its objectives and upholding its national mission. These plans are consistent with the Ministry of Youth Affairs’ goals of empowering young Bahrainis, enhancing their role in preserving the Kingdom’s cultural heritage, and strengthening their sense of identity and belonging.
Dr. Budalamah emphasised that the Al Bayt Al Oud Authority seeks to become a leading national youth platform dedicated to advancing cultural and intellectual creativity, inspiring Bahraini youth to participate in volunteer work and engage actively in community life.
She added that the Authority remains committed to preserving Bahrain’s rich heritage and passing it on to future generations, thereby reinforcing its national identity and empowering young people to contribute effectively to the service of their nation and the realisation of the Ministry’s vision and objectives.
