Youth Ministry launches Creative Pioneers teams for youth centres

Rawan bint Najeeb Tawfeeqi, Minister of Youth Affairs, announced the launch of three Creative Pioneers teams for the Muharraq Model Youth Centre, Hamad Town Model Youth Centre, and the Bahrain Science Centre for Achieving Sustainable Development Goals.

Tawfeeqi said the initiative aims to enhance youth participation in developing programmes and policies that make youth centres dynamic spaces for creativity and talent development.

She noted that the programme aligns with the National Youth Empowerment Strategy (2023–2028) and the “5+1” framework, which emphasise youth involvement in planning and implementation to support Bahrain’s sustainable development goals.

The minister said the initiative reflects confidence in young people’s abilities to take the lead, contribute ideas, and drive innovation in youth work.

The Muharraq Model Youth Centre team includes Abdulla Fouad, Saleh Al Mehzaa, Yousif Younis, Salman Al Zayani, and Maryam Rashid.

The Hamad Town Model Youth Centre team comprises Enjood Al Hadi, Hamed Al Balooshi, Mohammed Al Koheji, Abdulla Al Malood, and Aisha Fareed.

The Bahrain Science Centre team includes Dr. Marwan Obeid, Abdullah Al Mubarak, Jenan Al Saffar, Ahmed Al Awadhi, and Maryam Baslar.
