The Ministry of Youth Affairs signed a cooperation agreement with Alzayani Investments to support Youth City 2030. This initiative is one of the Kingdom’s leading national programmes in training and development, organised by the Ministry in partnership with its strategic partner, the Labour Fund "Tamkeen".

The agreement was signed by Marwan Fouad Kamal, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Youth Affairs, and Nawaf Khalid Alzayani, Vice Chairman of Alzayani Investments.

The Undersecretary expressed the Ministry’s pride in this strategic partnership, commending Alzayani Investments for its role in supporting youth and development initiatives. He affirmed that this agreement marks a new milestone in the journey of "Youth City 2030".

He noted that the Ministry of Youth Affairs continues to broaden its partnerships with the private sector to meet the aspirations of Bahraini youth and provide them with a nurturing environment for creativity and development. He added that the agreement aims to equip national talents with future skills that meet the needs of the labour market.

Alzayani said that the partnership with the Ministry of Youth Affairs reflects the company's commitment to social responsibility. He noted that investing in Youth City 2030 and its participants is a direct investment in the Kingdom’s future. He added that supporting and empowering youth is the foundation for building a productive and innovative society, and through this partnership, they aspire to open new horizons for Bahraini youth to unleash their potential and enhance their abilities in various domains.

This agreement is part of a series of initiatives supporting the fourteenth edition of Youth City 2030, which launches this month under the theme "Out of this world". The programme offers a range of innovative and modern training opportunities across five main centres: Science and Technology, Arts and Culture, Leadership and Entrepreneurship, Media and Entertainment, and Sports and Health. It targets young people aged 9 to 35, with activities held during both morning and evening sessions.
