Youth Minister announces establishment of Beyt Al Oud Society

Rawan bint Najeeb tawfeeqi, Minister of Youth Affairs, highlighted the ministry’s commitment to supporting purposeful youth initiatives and strengthening the role of youth organisations and associations in promoting national identity and expanding avenues for active participation in cultural and social affairs. She noted that this reflects the national approach to empowering young people and reinforcing their role as partners in sustainable development.

 

Minister tawfeeqi noted Ministerial Decision (33) of 2025 concerning the registration of the Articles of Association of the Beyt Al Oud Society on the register of youth associations under the supervision of the Ministry of Youth Affairs. She emphasised that the decision comes as part of the ministry’s efforts to continue supporting initiatives aimed at safeguarding cultural heritage and instilling values of belonging and citizenship among young people.

She added that the Beyt Al Oud Society will represent a significant addition to youth activity in the Kingdom through its programmes and initiatives that promote Bahraini identity and contribute to building an aware and creative generation.

The Minister highlighted that the establishment of the Beyt Al Oud Society aligns with the ministry’s strategy to support cultural and social activities and create national platforms for young people’s talents and energy. She noted that the society will promote national values, increase youth participation in cultural and community events, and support the Kingdom’s efforts to strengthen social cohesion and unity.

She added that the society aims to instil loyalty and national belonging, and to promote Bahraini identity through educational and interactive programmes that raise awareness and reinforce responsible citizenship, discipline, and community participation.

 She noted that the society will provide a youth platform that fosters intellectual and cultural creativity and expands opportunities for volunteerism.
