Youth Affairs Minister honours winners of watch design competition held in partnership with Nuncier
Rawan bint Najeeb Tawfeeqi, Minister of Youth Affairs, met representatives from Nuncier Watches and the winners of the "Best Watch Design" competition held during City of Youth 2030. Abdulaziz Al Sheikh won first place, followed by Mohammed Al Mahdi and Rawan Al Saati.
The winners received watches produced by Nuncier based on their own designs. The Minister commended the creativity and technical skill shown by the young participants, noting that the competition highlights the growing talent of Bahraini youth and the value of initiatives that encourage innovation and design.
She said this year’s City of Youth 2030 once again demonstrated the strong capabilities of young Bahrainis across its programmes, affirming their potential to excel and create meaningful impact.
The Minister also praised the partnership with Nuncier Watches, which has helped introduce initiatives that identify and support promising young designers. She stressed that continued cooperation strengthens youth empowerment and fosters an environment that supports creativity and excellence.
Nuncier’s Brand Director, Haroon Naeem, expressed pride in the collaboration and in the achievements of the participating youths, emphasising the shared commitment to developing young talent and expanding opportunities for them.
The winners expressed gratitude for the opportunity, noting that the experience offered valuable exposure to professional design practices and helped refine their skills.
