Youth Minister discusses cooperation with LinkedIn officials
Rawan bint Najeeb Tawfiqi, Minister of Youth Affairs, visited LinkedIn's headquarters in Dubai, where she met with Ali Matar, LinkedIn’s Head for the Middle East and Emerging Markets in Europe and Africa, and Marwan El Nemr, LinkedIn’s Head of Public Sector for the Middle East and North Africa. The meeting took place on the sidelines of her participation in the World Government Summit in Dubai.
The discussions focused on enhancing cooperation between the Ministry of Youth Affairs and LinkedIn, particularly in utilising the platform’s digital tools and technologies to create new opportunities for Bahraini youth. The meeting also explored ways to provide young talents with access to emerging trends and a platform to showcase their skills across various professional fields.
Matar highlighted the importance of strengthening strategic cooperation with the ministry, noting that the collaboration would support young talent and innovators by equipping them with modern technological skills. He commended Bahrain’s initiatives and the proactive approach of its youth in leveraging LinkedIn to implement innovative ideas.
