Youth Minister participates in 38th GCC Youth and Sports Ministers' Meeting
Rawan bint Najeeb Tawfeeqi, Minister of Youth Affairs, participated in the 38th GCC Youth and Sports Ministers' Meeting, hosted by the State of Kuwait.
Minister tawfeeqi emphasised Bahrain’s commitment to supporting joint Gulf cooperation in youth empowerment. She highlighted Bahrain’s focus on training, skills development, and entrepreneurship to equip future leaders.
The ministers approved the committee’s future work plan for 2025-2030, the Gulf Youth Development Index, and youth programmes funded by the Financial and Economic Cooperation Committee. They also endorsed initiatives to enhance international cooperation in youth affairs and develop mechanisms for youth investment.
Additionally, the ministers approved programmes for Gulf Sports for All Day on December 14 and Gulf Youth Day on June 6. They also endorsed the 2025 technical committee recommendations and the list of honourees in youth work and outstanding young achievers from GCC countries.
