Youth Minister meets Chairwoman of Mulhemoon Association
Rawan bint Najeeb Tawfiqi, Minister of Youth Affairs, met with Dohaa Al Bashar Madani, Chairwoman of the Board of Trustees of the Mulhemoon Association, along with members of the board.
Minister Tawfiqi emphasised the importance of continuing to enhance strategic partnerships with leading youth organisations to support youth initiatives, develop their capabilities, and provide an enabling environment that advances their active contribution to sustainable development.
The Youth Minister highlighted the key role of the Association in helping to develop a generation of Bahrainis capable of meeting future challenges and adopting innovative ideas that drive sustainable development. She underlined the ministry’s commitment to supporting and expanding such initiatives to invest in youth potential as a foundation for a more prosperous future for the Kingdom.
The meeting also addressed means to strengthen the partnership to further develop the youth sector, empower young Bahrainis to enhance their leadership and creative skills, and engage effectively across vital sectors. It included discussions on initiatives and projects aimed at improving youth competitiveness, encouraging their participation in national and community events, and supporting their leadership and innovation skills.
On her part, Madani expressed appreciation to the minister for her continued support and commitment to advancing youth work in the Kingdom. She reiterated the Association’s commitment to broadening its activities to reach a wider segment of young people and to develop further strategic partnerships with public and private entities, with the aim of providing greater opportunities for youth to excel, create, and innovate in pursuit of shared objectives.
