Youth Minister receives Saudi Sports Minister

Rawan bint Najeeb Tawfeeqi, Minister of Youth Affairs, received His Royal Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al Faisal, Minister of Sports of Saudi Arabia, during his official visit to Bahrain to attend the 3rd Asian Youth Games hosted by Bahrain until October 31st.

Minister Tawfeeqi highlighted the deep-rooted Bahrain-Saudi ties and their growth under the leaderships of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Custodian of The Two Holy Mosques and the continuous efforts of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
She explained that further expanding youth cooperation between the two countries comes along with the strategy of His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs and Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS), with support of His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the SCYS, Chairman of the General Sports Authority (GSA), and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC), to enhance cooperation and exchange of experiences in the field of youth empowerment.
Minister Tawfeeqi commended the growth of Saudi Arabia’s youth sector, reflecting HRH Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki’s vision to empower young people and increase their involvement in overall development. She stressed the importance of encouraging joint youth efforts and expanding bilateral programmes and initiatives, especially given the shared national goals of both countries to support youth and equip them with the skills needed to shape their future.
The two ministers highlighted the importance of continuous cooperation in youth affairs by launching initiatives and programmes that enhance the paths of integration between the two countries.
