Youth Minister receives Tajikistan Youth and Sports Committee Chairman
Rawan bint Najeeb Tawfeeqi, Minister of Youth Affairs, received Gulahmadzoda Zulfiqor Ahmad, Chairman of the Committee of Youth Affairs and Sports of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, as part of his official visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain.
The Minister highlighted the growing relations between Bahrain and Tajikistan, noting their continuous development in various domains, particularly in youth affairs. She emphasised the ministry’s keenness to expand areas of cooperation with its counterpart in Tajikistan and exchange expertise in empowering youth and developing their leadership and creative skills through joint programmes and initiatives that enhance youth participation in comprehensive development.
The meeting reviewed cooperation in youth empowerment and discussed means to strengthen coordination and develop mechanisms for implementing bilateral programmes and initiatives between both countries.
For his part, Gulahmadzoda expressed his appreciation to the ministry for its efforts to promote youth cooperation, commending Bahrain’s leading experience in supporting national youth initiatives. He emphasised his country’s eagerness to strengthen cooperation with the Kingdom in various areas of youth and innovation.
