His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, visited Youth City 2030, accompanied by Aymen bin Tawfiq Al Moayed, Secretary General of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, and Rawan bint Najeeb Tawfiqi, Minister of Youth Affairs,

During the visit, HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad underscored that Youth City 2030 is a tangible embodiment of the vision of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, to empower the youth and enhance their role in supporting comprehensive national development.

HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad noted that empowering youth, developing their skills and capabilities, and supporting their innovations are national and governmental priorities, led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, aimed at preparing a capable and qualified national generation to lead the future efficiently and confidently.

HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad emphasised that investing in youth energy is key to building a prosperous and sustainable future. He noted that empowering young people through advanced training and modern knowledge broadens their opportunities to actively contribute to national development.

Additionally, HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad commended the programmes and advanced training curriculum offered by Youth City 2030, noting that these elements have positioned the initiative as a leading regional model for youth empowerment and capacity building.

“Youth City 2030 has become a role model for introducing unique opportunities for young people. Today, it represents an inspiring developmental experience that young men and women are eager to join, thanks to the high-quality prospects it provides. These prospects contribute to building leadership qualities and strengthening their abilities to lead the future with confidence and skill,” His Highness added.

“What we have witnessed, from the innovative and distinguished programmes alongside the wide participation from youth, has reinforced our conviction in the importance of continuing Youth City 2030 in the coming years. This must be done while maintaining the high standard of training that meets the aspirations of our youth and prepares them to face the challenges of the future with confidence and capability.”

During the visit, HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad was briefed on the City’s offerings, which are organised into five main centres that include Science and Technology, Arts and Culture, Leadership and Entrepreneurship, Media and Entertainment, and Sports and Health.
